Piano Cyclic Broken Chord Exercise

This is a cyclic broken chord exercise that cycles through all chords found in the major scale. The exercise is in all chord positions.

It’s a musical finger exercise that combines ascending broken chords and descending short scale runs.

It cycles through all the chords of the scale in a progression of 4ths: I IV VII III VI II V I

Play the left hand one octave lower.

The exercise can be practiced in all major scales.
